Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Estates Team at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. The role focuses on diagnosing faults, servicing and maintaining building engineering services, and supervising colleagues on fault-finding and repairs.

Based at Luton and Dunstable, you will work 37.5 hours a week, with on-call responsibilities for out-of-hours emergencies and occasional weekend/evening work.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a service/maintenance role.
• Demonstrable and proven experience in a supervisory position.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
• In depth working knowledge of building services engineering.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems.
• Knowledge of steam raising plant.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose faults, carry out repair and maintain the building engineering services, plant and equipment.
• Deliver safe isolations within your specialist craft skill set.
• Oversee others on fault-finding, repairs, maintenance and installation of complex plant, equipment and buildings belonging to the Trust.
• Undertake Authorised Person duties.
• This post will be based at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital covering services across the Trust's Luton and Dunstable sites.
• Hours are 37.5 hours week Monday - Friday and the post holder will be expected to participate in the on call rota service for out of hours emergency calls, with some weekend and evening work whilst on call.
