Job summary

First Light is seeking a Crisis Worker to join Swindon SARC, delivering on-call crisis support to victims of rape and sexual assault. You will participate in forensic medical examinations, advocate for clients, and coordinate with the on-duty examiner to ensure compassionate care.

The role requires a willingness to travel to Wiltshire sites, attend monthly meetings, and undergo Garda/GDPR compliant procedures. Training and supervision are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience providing crisis support to victims of rape or sexual assault.
• Ability to operate in a forensically clean environment.
• Willingness to attend on-call shifts and meet training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis management to victims of rape/sexual assault.
• Answer the SARC Crisis Line during on-call shifts.
• Attend SARC for forensic medical process and advocate for the victim.
