Job summary

JoJo Maman Bébé in the United Kingdom is seeking a customer-focused Retail Assistant for a fixed-term contract until December 2027. You will guide customers, assist with maternity wear knowledge, and prepare Omni-Channel orders to ship from store or click & collect.

You will work in a small team, with shifts typically 4 hours long, and be part of a brand committed to values, ethical practices, and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service and sales experience
• Competent IT skills and systems ability
• Ability to learn product information and communicate it to customers
• Self-developing mentality and curiosity to learn new products
• Strong listening, empathy and understanding of customer needs
• Team player with flexible attitude for a seven-day operation

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in various situations, including maternity wear and baby products
• Prepare Omni-Channel orders for pickup or delivery
• Liaise with customers in-store or by phone regarding orders
• Use digital learning platforms to develop retail knowledge
• Learn new products to increase sales opportunities
• Actively listen to customers and determine best solutions
• Keep the store immaculate and well-presented
