Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking an Administrator to join our client in Oldbury. The role offers £13 per hour with Monday–Friday or Friday–Monday shifts and flexible start times. You will dispatch drivers, monitor on-time departures and handle routine admin tasks in a busy transport setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, strong IT skills, and good communication abilities. On-site parking, canteen facilities and weekly pay are included in this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• To be comfortable working alone or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Dispatching transport drivers, agency drivers, and subcontracted routes.
• Ensuring on-time departures and managing exception reporting.
• Performing general administrative tasks, such as answering telephone queries, printing route paperwork and maps.
• Providing additional administrative support to the LGV Coordinators, Transport Shift Managers and Transport Operations Managers.
