Job summary

Jagex: The RuneScape Company is seeking a Community Manager for the Old School RuneScape team. You will be the Old School expert, advising designers on how updates land with players and shaping how we communicate changes to ensure players feel heard.

You’ll manage our forums, Reddit, Discord, and social channels, and you’ll produce livestreams and videos, acting as the public-facing voice for the Old School team.

Qualifications

• Deep, current knowledge of Old School RuneScape and its communities.
• Comfort being on camera and speaking publicly.
• Ability to think critically and present solutions to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Advise designers on how updates will land with different player groups.
• Manage forums, Reddit, Discord, and social media to build relationships with players.
• Produce livestreams, videos, and podcasts as a public-facing voice for the Old School team.
• Champion player sentiment to development teams and influence content decisions.
• Manage relationships with partners, influencers, volunteers, and sub-communities.
• Monitor and report on community sentiment and engagement with data-driven insights.
• Contribute to in-game and real-world events that grow the Old School community.
