Job summary

Jagex Limited is seeking a Community Manager for the Old School RuneScape team. You’ll blend expert game knowledge with professional community strategy, advising designers on updates and shaping communications to players.

You’ll manage forums, social channels, and livestreams while representing player sentiment to developers and coordinating with partners, volunteers, and communities across Old School.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Old School RuneScape and its player ecosystems.
• Experience in community management or PR under high‑pressure situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable on camera.

Responsibilities

• Advise designers on how updates land with different player groups and foresee concerns.
• Manage forums, Reddit, Discord, and social channels; build daily player relationships.
• Produce livestreams, videos, and podcasts; act as the public voice for Old School.
• Represent community sentiment to development teams to guide content decisions.
• Coordinate with partners, influencers, and volunteers across the Old School ecosystem.
• Monitor sentiment and engagement; provide data-driven insights to the team.
• Contribute to in-game events, community activations, and campaigns.
