Qualifications

• Experience in business development or sales within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector is essential.
• Existing Aberdeen energy market contacts advantageous.
• Experience selling air, sea or road freight services.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to win new business and generate revenue.
• Self-motivated, commercially driven and target-focused.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify and approach potential clients across Aberdeen and surrounding areas.
• Promote air, sea, road freight and wider logistics services.
• Manage the full sales process, from initial contact through to securing new accounts.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for further growth.
• Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and business development objectives.
