Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify and approach potential clients across Aberdeen and surrounding areas.
• Promote air, sea, road freight and wider logistics services.
• Manage the full sales process, from initial contact through to securing new accounts.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for further growth.
• Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and business development objectives.

Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000

An established international freight forwarding and logistics company is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join its team in Aberdeen.

The role will focus on developing new business within the Oil & Gas sector, building relationships with key customers and growing the company's presence across the Aberdeen energy market.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in freight forwarding or logistics, alongside a good understanding of the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify and approach potential clients across Aberdeen and the surrounding areas.
• Promote air, sea, road freight and wider logistics services.
• Manage the full sales process, from initial contact through to securing new accounts.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for further growth.
