Job summary

ALS Recruiting Ltd. partners with a global logistics provider to appoint a Business Development Manager for Aberdeen and the wider UK, focusing on Oil & Gas, Energy, Marine, Industrial and Renewables sectors.

You will identify and secure new business, develop relationships with operators and EPCs, sell multimodal freight solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from RFQs to negotiations, driving profitable revenue growth across Scotland and the UK. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics business development.
• Strong background in Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial or Project Cargo logistics.
• Established relationships within Aberdeen's energy sector.
• Proven track record of winning new business and managing strategic accounts.
• Strong understanding of international freight forwarding and multimodal logistics.
• Commercially focused, proactive and confident in developing new markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business across Oil & Gas, Energy and Project Logistics.
• Develop relationships with operators, EPC contractors, drilling companies and energy service providers.
• Sell multimodal freight solutions including Air, Ocean, Road, Customs, Warehousing and Project Cargo.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including RFQs, tenders, negotiations and account development.
• Drive profitable revenue growth across Scotland and the wider UK.
