Job summary

Growthnext Stepsat in Leeds (open to other locations) seeks an Offsite Standardisation Manager with an electrical/mechanical bias to lead standardised offsite products across the business. You will collaborate with technical, offsite manufacturing, design, estimating and project delivery teams to embed standardised solutions in designs and ensure on-site delivery.

You will drive DFMA, BIM coordination within Revit library, and build a product roadmap aligned with strategy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in mechanical/electrical building services projects.
• Background in offsite manufacturing, DFMA, or standardisation within construction/MEP.
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with BIM processes and digital engineering (Revit libraries, data structures).
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, costing, and programme impacts.
• Experience in developing repeatable products or standard solutions.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture in all activities.
• Product Development: Identify and continuously improve standardised offsite products in collaboration with project teams.
• Strategic Alignment: Ensure products align with business strategy and sector needs, establishing a structured product roadmap.
• Design Collaboration: Work with internal and external designers to incorporate standardised products into designs.
• Innovative Thinking: Promote DFMA principles and design for manufacture and assembly.
• BIM Coordination: Maintain standardised products within the Revit library in collaboration with the BIM team.
• Tender Solutions: Ensure standardised products are included in tender solutions and cost models.
• Project Support: Assist project teams in adopting standardised products and addressing implementation barriers.
• Feedback Loop: Capture learnings and identify opportunities to expand the product suite.
• Market Awareness: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance offerings.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support product development.
