RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. seeks an experienced Technician to maintain the Robin Rigg offshore wind farm. You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance, servicing, inspections, and retrofits to maximise energy yield.

You will work offshore, travel by boat, and join a small team under tight safety rules. A full mechanical or electrical apprenticeship and HV experience are essential, with on-call and travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Full apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical discipline is required.
• HNC in electrical or mechanical discipline is preferred.
• Significant experience with High Voltage equipment up to 33kV is essential.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and fault history maintenance is needed.
• GCSEs including English and Mathematics with grade 4/C or above are important.

Responsabilités

• Carry out maintenance and servicing of wind turbines and related systems, including proactive and reactive tasks.
• Lead teams under supervision and become an Authorised Technician under Wind Turbine Safety rules.
• Maintain HV systems up to 33kV and pursue Senior Authorised Person status as needed.
• Work in a small team with minimal supervision and be flexible around hours and travel.
• Use SCADA and other systems to interrogate turbines, reset faults and record fault histories.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records, both electronic and paper.
• Support site operations and participate in non-routine projects and spares handling.
