Ocean Winds in Edinburgh seeks a Technical Asset Manager to provide technical leadership across the UK operations. You will oversee asset condition, performance and lifecycle, coordinate O&M and contractor activities, and ensure value delivery while safeguarding safety and compliance.

You will translate technical risk into business decisions, interact with Engineering, HSE, Commercial teams and suppliers, and shape lifecycle strategies for major components and life-extension plans.

Qualificações

• Significant experience in renewable energy or a comparable complex operational environment.
• Experience in asset management, O&M, engineering or technical management.
• Strong understanding of asset performance, reliability, maintenance and lifecycle management.
• Experience managing or technically overseeing O&M manufacturers and contractors.
• Commercial and financial awareness of large operating infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to capture and share knowledge to improve decision making and business performance.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the owner/operator’s technical representative for assigned offshore wind assets.
• Maintain oversight of asset condition, performance, reliability and technical risk.
• Monitor and challenge asset availability, production, losses and maintenance performance.
• Identify emerging technical issues and ensure effective corrective actions.
• Support root-cause investigations into significant failures and recurring issues.
• Develop and maintain asset performance and lifecycle improvement plans including Annual Asset Management Plans.
• Provide strategic oversight of O&M activities across all assets.
• Coordinate and align Operations, Asset Management, Engineering, HSE, Marine and Commercial leads.
• Empower leads to own key performance areas with clear accountability and governance.
• Provide technical challenge and oversight to O&M contractors, OEMs and suppliers.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, technical requirements and service levels.
• Review maintenance strategies and life-extension actions for lessons learned across the portfolio.
• Support O&M contract management and commercial optimisation opportunities.
• Build collaborative supplier relationships while maintaining owner oversight.
