Job summary

Ocean Winds is seeking an Electrical Asset Integrity Manager to lead the electrical engineering work scopes across offshore wind assets. You will define and maintain asset integrity strategies for HV systems, providing technical leadership and assurance throughout the lifecycle.

You will interface with asset integrity, operations, HSE, supply chain, and external providers across multiple assets, ensuring safe, compliant and commercially sound delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering with asset integrity/operations exposure.
• Experience in offshore wind, HV transmission, or large power infra.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain asset integrity strategies for electrical systems incl. offshore/onshore substations, export and array cables, HV equipment.
• Act as electrical asset integrity authority; ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.
• Define integrity management plans, inspection regimes, and performance standards for electrical assets.
• Provide engineering assurance over inspection, maintenance, repair, and modification activities affecting electrical systems.
• Interface with operations, OEMs and service providers to execute integrity activities.
• Review and approve technical documentation including inspection reports and defect assessments.
• Support root cause analysis and lessons learned; manage degradation risks and mitigation measures.
• Support life-extension, obsolescence management, and long-term asset planning.
• Provide input into budgets and integrity-related investment cases.
• Engage with certification bodies, insurers and regulators as required.
