Job summary

Equinor seeks an experienced offshore technician for the Sheringham Shoal wind farm. The role operates on a Service Operations Vessel with a 14-days-on/14-days-off rotation and 12-hour shifts during each deployment.

You will handle fault analysis, SCADA/automation tasks, HV discipline, gearbox focus, and cross-team mentoring. The position requires multi-disciplinary skills, relevant NVQs and safety qualifications.

Qualifications

• Understand and apply discipline expertise within electrical and mechanical domains.
• Qualification additions listed in the job posting include City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Power Engineering, NVQ mechanical principles, IOSH Managing Safely, GWO offshore wind training.

Responsibilities

• Fault codes and fault reporting analysis from third parties.
• SCADA/automation tasks and electrical discipline responsibilities.
• Troubleshooting, mentoring training, and knowledge sharing between shifts.
• Lead toolbox talks, site safety, and incident reporting when needed.
