Equinor is seeking an Offshore Senior Technician in Great Yarmouth, working on a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotation from a Service Operations Vessel (SOV). You will remotely monitor, diagnose faults, and support maintenance planning to maximise wind turbine availability and energy production.

The role requires mentoring, technical leadership, and collaboration with asset engineering teams to meet site goals while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Authorised Troubleshooting Technician with demonstrable troubleshooting experience on D6 WTG platforms.
• Proficient user of SGRE WPS to fault find, plot, and investigate underperformance.
• Basic hydraulics principles (fluid applications).
• IOSH/NEBOSH qualification or willingness to obtain.
• Continuous improvement mindset and safety reporting discipline.
• Willing to complete full GWO offshore certificates and medical.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, analyse, and troubleshoot D6 wind turbine generators using remote monitoring systems.
• Diagnose faults and coordinate corrective maintenance to maximise availability.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to improve reliability.
• Prepare RAMS, work orders, procedures and maintenance documentation.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities based on risk, asset criticality and resources.
• Mentor technicians, apprentices and contractors, supporting competency development.
