Job summary

Equinor is seeking an Offshore Senior Technician to support the safe, reliable operation of the Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm from a Service Operations Vessel on a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off cycle. You will monitor WTG performance, diagnose faults, and coordinate maintenance activities to maximise turbine availability.

You will prepare RAMS and work orders, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards while contributing to continuous improvement and reporting.

Qualifications

• Authorised Troubleshooting Technician with demonstrable troubleshooting experience on D6 WTG platforms.
• Proficient use of SGRE WPS for fault finding, plotting, and investigating underperformance.
• Basic hydraulics principles (fluid)*
• IOSH/NEBOSH qualification – or willing to take.
• Continuous improvement mindset and safety reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with asset engineering teams and other sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse, and troubleshoot D6 wind turbine generators using remote condition monitoring systems.
• Diagnose faults and coordinate corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to improve reliability and performance.
• Prepare RAMS, work orders, procedures, and maintenance documentation.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities based on risk and resource availability.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and performance in CMMS.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to technicians and apprentices.
