ScottishPower is seeking a Senior Windfarm Controller in Lowestoft to manage HV operations, offshore logistics, and wind farm control activities. The role requires CP3 HV authorisations and SCADA familiarity, with responsibilities spanning switching, planning, and safety compliance.

The position involves offshore coordination, weather-aware scheduling, and liaison with control centres to maximize generation and safety.

Formación

• Ideally prior experience as control room operator for HV switching.
• Authorisations under High Voltage Safety Rules (Control Person or SAP).
• Knowledge of SCADA systems, WTGs, HV equipment and substations.
• Experience with safe systems of work (WTSR, HVSR).
• Offshore wind or similar operations safety exposure.

Responsabilidades

• HV management of the wind farm and CP3 level operations.
• Coordinate HV switching schedules and reconfigurations.
• Support offshore logistics planning and weather-based go/no-go decisions.
• Manage transfer of personnel and equipment by vessels.
• Maintain communications with control centres and asset integrity teams.
• Conduct offshore wind turbine monitoring and respond to alarms.
