Job summary

Masdar is seeking a Secondee to join the Offshore Operations & Maintenance team in Lowestoft, on a hybrid basis with occasional offshore visits. The role focuses on HV electrical assets to safeguard reliability, asset value and production across Masdar's wind portfolio.

You will provide high‑quality technical expertise, lead asset readiness for new wind farms, and collaborate with Construction and Engineering to feed insights into performance plans and maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in O&M, wind or HV electrical disciplines.
• Experience with asset management concepts and operational risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the operational portfolio of renewable assets, carrying out root cause analysis and developing solutions to improve asset availability.
• Lead operational readiness of new wind farm assets, ensuring risks are minimised and site teams have necessary information.
• Offer guidance across electrical assets including protection, reactors, GIS/AIS, transformers, and related equipment.
• Evaluate designs from an operational perspective to embed O&M requirements and present risk-based options.
• Develop asset management processes and share information with stakeholders.
