Job summary

OEG is seeking a Stores Operative to join our Subsea Division in Liverpool. You will support day-to-day warehouse operations, receiving goods, checking against paperwork, and ensuring accurate stock records and safe handling.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, dispatch, coordinating with logistics, maintaining inventory accuracy, and following health and safety procedures to meet project delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or similar environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse and stores operations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
• Experience handling inventory and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Experience preparing shipping, dispatch, or transport documentation.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet operational deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Goods-in and Receiving: Receive deliveries and verify quantities against delivery documentation.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Record goods received within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system.
• Promptly report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
