Job summary

Equinor is seeking an experienced offshore technician to support operations at the Sheringham Shoal wind farm. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, SCADA expertise, and the ability to mentor junior technicians.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team on a 14 days on/14 days off rotation, performing 12-hour shifts offshore. The position emphasizes safety, defect management, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrical Power Eng or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Principles completed or in progress.
• IOSH safety training and offshore readiness.
• Experience with SAP and SCADA systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support operations at Sheringham Shoal offshore wind farm.
• Fault code analysis and interaction with 3rd parties (IOC/TCM).
• SCADA/automation troubleshooting and mentoring of training technicians.
• Lead toolbox talks, scans, and safe work practices.
• Record work orders in SAP and manage defect reporting.
• Maintain and service 3.6MW WTGs and associated gearboxes.
• Collaborate with vendors and offshore crews to improve safety and efficiency.
• Assist in SOV stores and ensure consistent competency sharing.
