Job summary

Next Geosolutions UKCS Ltd in Norwich is seeking an experienced Rigging Coordinator to join the Assets & Operations team. The role will act as the technical reference for project deck and rigging operations, coordinating and monitoring activities across offshore worksites.

Office-based in Norwich with frequent visits to vessels in UK and European ports during mobilisation and demobilisation. You will develop SOPs, lift plans, risk assessments and provide guidance to project teams while ensuring

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years progressive offshore rigging experience.
• OPITO Stage 3/4 Rigger or equivalent qualification.
• Appointed Person lifting/rigging training.
• Strong knowledge of LOLER and lifting legislation in practice.
• Experience with concrete mattress deployment, PLGR operations and offshore rigging.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rigging equipment inventory, inspections and maintenance.
• Develop, review and improve SOPs and lift plans for offshore projects.
• Identify hazards and control measures within lifting plans.
• Provide technical input during design/review of lifting arrangements.
• Support project teams with safe offshore deck and rigging activities.
