Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is currently seeking Rigger Supervisors for an industrial shutdown project near Northwich, Cheshire. This role involves supervising a team of riggers, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and conducting safety inspections. Candidates must have relevant certifications and previous experience in heavy engineering sectors such as Power and Renewables. Competitive daily lodge allowance is provided when working off-site.

• Experience with Lifting Equipment Inspection.

The Role

Integrate Engineering Resources are currently recruiting for Rigger Supervisors on behalf of our client for an industrial shutdown near Northwich, Cheshire. Duties will include:

• Leading and supervising a team of riggers, assigning tasks, and providing guidance as needed.
• Ensuring that all rigging operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Developing and implementing rigging plans and procedures for each project, considering factors such as load requirements, equipment specifications, and site conditions.
• Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that rigging activities are integrated smoothly into overall project schedules.
• Monitoring equipment usage and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Maintaining accurate records of rigging activities, including equipment inspections, incident reports, and personnel certifications.
• Serving as a point of contact for client inquiries and concerns regarding rigging operations.
