Job summary

Equinor seeks a Lifting Engineer to plan and execute safe lifting operations across the Greater Wash assets, including Dudgeon, Hywind Scotland and Sheringham Shoal. You will ensure compliance with LOLER, PUWER and internal governance while driving continuous improvement in performance.

You will be part of an engineering team providing O&M support and project management, delivering technical guidance, lift planning, risk assessments and documentation such as lift plans and certification to keep

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or BEng in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Lift planning knowledge or lifting qualifications.
• IOSH/NEBOSH qualification is desirable.
• Thorough knowledge of LOLER, PUWER and BS 7121.
• Experience in writing/reviewing lift plans and lifting operations.
• Experience in offshore wind is desirable.
• Willingness to travel onshore and offshore to Greater Wash assets.
• Experience with SAP CMMS or similar system.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to O&M teams and contractors on industry standards and lifting regulations.
• Act as the LOLER Appointed Person, ensuring compliant planning and execution of lifting operations.
• Create, maintain and oversee lift plans, risk assessments, procedures, registers and certifications.
• Carry out compliance assurance activities for lift planning and equipment.
• Conduct integrity audit activities for material handling equipment.
• Support ORA, RCA and maintenance instructions related to material handling.
• Plan, execute and closeout maintenance and modification campaigns.
