Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs emergency duties as per Station Bill and Emergency Procedures manual.
• Complies with and contributes to HSE policies and regulatory requirements; supports documentation review and approval impacting their area.
• Monitors weather conditions, rig elevation and position; maintains stability of the rig and proper location over the well site.
• Controls jacking console during installation and pre-loading operations; performs stability calculations.
• Ensures lifting equipment is maintained, inspected, safe for use, color coded, and logged; follows quarantine procedures.
• Ensures lift plans, risk assessments and procedures are followed; oversees loading and transfer of fuels and bulk materials per procedures.
• Maintains responsibility for the deck crew and ensures safety in crane operations and waste segregation policies.
