Job summary

Spirit Energy is seeking a NUI Mechanical Technician for a 12-month offshore contract near Morecambe Bay. The role covers routine maintenance and defect repair to ensure reliability of gas production equipment, with a 2 weeks on/3 weeks off rotation and a day rate of £400–£450 PAYE.

You will require several years of electrical offshore E&P experience, a BTEC Ordinary Certificate in engineering, and current Offshore Survival, Offshore Medical and MIST.

Qualifications

• Several years of electrical offshore experience in E&P.
• Current Offshore Survival, Offshore Medical and MIST.
• BTEC Ordinary Certificate or equivalent in engineering subject.
• Demonstrated communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Executes routine and on-routine maintenance to plant and equipment per procedures and requirements.
• Investigates complex technical problems and returns plant to normal operating service.
• Prepares and presents technical reports and maintains records for audit and analysis.
• Carries out commissioning/decommissioning to achieve planned plant programs and safety.
