Job summary

Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an Offshore Mechanical Technician for a repairs and maintenance contract on a large offshore platform. The role involves visual inspections, testing pumps/valves/pipework, leak detection, water inspection (oil and seawater), and light mechanical repairs.

Mobilisation is 21st October, with a 3-week rotation and UK travel covered. Accommodations and pre-mobilisation expenses are provided; travel to site is reimbursed.

Qualifications

• Offshore experience required and essential.
• GWO certification needed to perform offshore tasks.
• Ability to operate through your own Limited Company as a contractor.
• Available and committed to the full 3-week rotation from the mobilising date.
• Willingness to travel to Harwich for mobilisation from the UK.

£400 per day | 12-hour shifts | 3-week contract | Mobilising 21st October

Select Recruitment Specialists is looking for an experienced Offshore Mechanical Technician to join a repairs and maintenance contract on a large offshore platform. This is a 3-week rotation mobilising 21st October (travelling 20th) , with excellent rates, all UK travel and pre-mobilisation expenses covered, and high-quality offshore living.

The Role

• Visual inspections and detailed reporting on water systems
• Inspecting and testing pumps, valves and pipework
• Leak detection and identification
• Water inspection (oil and seawater)
• Light mechanical repairs as required

What You'll Need

• A recognised mechanical trade certificate (you'll need to provide this to confirm your level of experience and knowledge)
• Previous offshore experience (essential)
• All current offshore certifications
• Valid GWO certification
• To operate through your own Limited Company
• To be available and committed to the full 3-week rotation from 20th October
• To be UK based and able to travel to Harwich for mobilisation
