Job summary

Atlas Professionals is recruiting an Offshore Telecoms Technician for an initial 12-month contract on a major UK offshore asset. The role involves carrying out planned and corrective maintenance of telecoms systems, diagnosing faults, and supporting maintenance planning while adhering to HSE standards.

Candidates must have offshore telecoms experience in oil & gas, strong fault-finding skills, and a vocational engineering qualification.

Qualifications

• Offshore telecoms experience in oil & gas is required.
• Maintenance, testing and fault-finding knowledge of telecoms equipment and systems.
• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Relevant vocational qualification in Electrical, Electronic or Instrument Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on offshore telecoms systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Conduct inspections, testing and calibration; perform repairs as needed.
• Support maintenance planning and execution of work programmes.
