Job summary

Balfour Beatty is recruiting an Offshore / Marine Sub Agent to join our Avonmouth team in Bristol, supporting the delivery of offshore marine construction works for Hinkley Point C. The role focuses on leading a section of offshore works, coordinating engineers, subcontractors and safety compliance to deliver the programme on time.

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore construction or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong planning, risk assessment and method statement review skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coordinate engineers, subcontractors and offshore stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a section of offshore works, ensuring safe and effective delivery.
• Manage Section Engineers, Offshore Client Representatives and subcontractors.
• Review and improve method statements, risk assessments and operational documentation.
• Support the implementation of safe systems of work and promote Zero Harm culture.
• Monitor progress, productivity and KPI performance; identify improvements.
• Maintain project records and contribute to reporting requirements.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Assist in planning offshore campaigns and marine operations.
