Balfour Beatty is recruiting an Offshore / Marine Sub Agent to join our Avonmouth team, supporting the Hinkley Point C project. You will lead offshore works, coordinate engineers, subcontractors and offshore stakeholders, and ensure safe, compliant delivery across the intake/outfall tunnel programme in the Bristol Channel.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in offshore construction, marine operations or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore installation activities and construction methodologies.
• Experience reviewing and implementing method statements, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, engineering teams and offshore stakeholders.
• Experience managing programme, progress reporting and productivity monitoring.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of key workstreams.
• Flexibility to support offshore campaigns, including unsociable hours when required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Understanding of offshore quality management and project deliverables.
• Experience in energy, marine or nuclear sectors.
• Knowledge of commercial processes, procurement and subcontract management.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate a section of offshore works, ensuring safe and effective delivery.
• Manage Section Engineers, Offshore Client Representatives and subcontractors involved in offshore operations.
• Review and improve method statements, risk assessments and operational documentation.
• Support the implementation of safe systems of work and promote a strong safety culture aligned with Zero Harm principles.
• Monitor offshore works to ensure compliance with project specifications, procedures and quality requirements.
• Produce and manage section programmes, tracking progress and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor productivity and KPI performance, recommending corrective actions where required.
• Carry out inspections, audits and reviews of offshore activities and associated documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and support reporting requirements.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Support commercial activities, including subcontractor management and the preparation of records for commercial recovery.
• Assist in the coordination and planning of offshore campaigns and marine operations.
