Job summary

Saab UK, part of Scandinavia's defence group, leads the Integration Team in Fareham. You will oversee the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time and in line with configuration documents and delivery schedules.

The role requires strong team leadership in a fast-paced production environment, clear communication, and a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Previous team leadership experience essential.
• Ability to lead a fast paced production area and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills expected.
• HNC/HND qualification in Electronics preferred.
• Knowledge of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Integration Engineering on assembly, testing and commissioning of underwater robotic systems.
• Ensure training to integrate assemblies and sub-assemblies per customer specs and docs.
• Lead fault finding, repair and reporting of faults in required format.
• Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as required.
• Interpret designs and electrical drawings to assemble and test working prototypes.
• Contribute to continual improvement through change requests and feedback.
