Job summary

FS Recruitment Services is recruiting an experienced Fire Suppression Designer for a leading offshore safety and fire protection specialist. Qualifications

• Significant offshore/oil & gas or fire protection sector experience.
• Strong knowledge of fire suppression, deluge and foam systems.
• Experience using hydraulic modelling software.
• Familiarity with NFPA, API, British/EU standards for fire protection.
• Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of fire safety and fire suppression projects.
• Design, verify and authorise fire safety system documentation.
• Develop and verify hydraulic models for fire suppression/deluge systems.
• Assist clients with Fire Hazard Management and strategies.
• Review technical reports prior to client submission.
• Develop operating procedures, maintenance manuals and testing methodologies.
• Support wet/foam testing programmes.
• Deliver technical training on fire suppression systems.
• Contribute to innovative fire protection technologies and testing solutions.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders through project lifecycles.
