James Fisher Offshore & Decommissioning is seeking an Offshore Technician to maintain, test and service offshore equipment. The role is permanent, full-time, based near Oldmeldrum/Aberdeen with flexibility on location, and involves planning maintenance activities, ensuring safety standards and providing technical support to offshore operations.

You will work across mechanical and electrical systems, perform lubrication, testing, assembly/disassembly, and ensure equipment readiness for offshore

Formación

• Understanding of operational processes and maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, health and safety policies, and quality assurance processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including disassembly, servicing, greasing, assembly and testing.
• Experience in performing maintenance, lubrication and testing of components, equipment and machines.
• Background in assembly and disassembly of equipment, as well as repair of parts.
• Proven track record in planning maintenance activities and evaluating performance of components and machines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word.

• Ensure the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of offshore equipment and systems.
• Monitor and maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support offshore operations to achieve project objectives.
• Perform maintenance, lubrication, and testing of components, equipment, and machines.
• Conduct assembly and disassembly of equipment, as well as repair of parts.
• Ensure that all equipment meets safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical expertise to the team and support offshore operations.
• Plan maintenance activities and evaluate the performance of components and machines.
