Job summary

Masdar is seeking an environmental assurance lead for the Dogger Bank South DBS project in the UK. You will monitor contractor environmental performance, review EMPs and RAMS, and ensure compliance with DCO/DML obligations and ISO 14001 standards.

The role requires coordinating with the DBS team, contractors, and regulators to deliver robust environmental outcomes. Applicants should be UK-based with right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate, IEMA Practitioner Membership, or Certified Environmental Auditor (desirable).
• Experience in environmental compliance for large infrastructure or offshore projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and DCO/DML obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assurance for DBS project activities, ensuring compliance with laws, permits, and ISO 14001.
• Monitor contractor performance, manage incidents and non-conformances, and promote continual improvement.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring and reporting across project teams and contractors.
• Review contractor EMPs, RAMS, waste management plans, and environmental controls.
• Engage with regulators and stakeholders to address environmental commitments and permit conditions.
