Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc in Scotland is seeking a Commercial Risk Manager to join the Energy Delivery Unit, supporting major offshore energy programmes. Aberdeen / Peterhead.

You will lead the risk strategy, identify and monitor risks, and work with project teams, risk owners and customers to embed robust risk management throughout delivery. This role offers high-profile infrastructure exposure with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project-based risk management role on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience with QCRA and QSRA and quantitative risk modelling.
• Familiarity with risk management systems such as ARM; strong ERM knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the risk management strategy across the offshore programme.
• Lead identification, assessment, response and monitoring of project risks.
• Facilitate risk workshops across multiple packages.
• Produce risk reports for internal teams and the customer.
