Our client, EY, a global professional services firm, is seeking an Office Support Administrator.

This unique role involves providing support to a visually impaired consultant, enabling them to carry out their role effectively and independently. You will be responsible for a mix of administrative, organisational and information support tasks. What you'll do:

As an Office Support Administrator at EY, you will play a crucial role in supporting a visually impaired consultant. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with document navigation, proofreading for accuracy, organising emails and locating documents across various systems. You will also help access digital resources, take notes during meetings and support general administrative tasks. Occasional travel for business events may also be part of your role. Your commitment to these responsibilities will enable the consultant to perform their role effectively.

  • Assist with reading and navigating documents, including reports, presentations, and emails
  • Review and read aloud content from various sources such as business publications, internal reports, and external communications
  • Proofread documents and emails to ensure accuracy and professional presentation
  • Support the organisation of emails and locate documents across Outlook and other business systems
  • Help access and use internal and external digital resources such as company intranets, databases, and third-party platforms
  • Take notes during meetings, conference calls, and presentations
  • Support general administrative and operational tasks as required
  • Attend business events, meetings, and conferences—occasional travel may be required

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Office Support Administrator role at EY will bring strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will be utilised daily as you assist with reading aloud content from various sources. A high attention to detail is crucial for proofreading documents for accuracy. While a degree or equivalent experience in business or finance is desirable it's not essential. Experience in a similar business support or personal assistant role would be beneficial.
