  • Support payroll, invoicing and basic bookkeeping where needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Resolve issues promptly and escalate when appropriate.
  • Train new employees and assist with staff development.
  • Prepare reports and provide updates to management.

Job Title: Office Supervisor (Wakefield)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 6:15 PM (hours may vary depending on business needs).

Job Summary

The Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office, ensuring administrative functions run efficiently, and supporting staff to maintain a productive and professional working environment. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Manage and support office staff, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Coordinate daily workflows and allocate duties as required.
  • Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and performance.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is provided to clients and visitors.
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory, arranging orders when necessary.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
  • Organize filing systems and ensure company records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and staff rotas.
  • Support payroll, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping processes where required.
