This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator with previous experience of working in a school office and strong knowledge of BromCom, which is essential for this role. We are looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment, communicates confidently with parents and staff, and can lead office systems with efficiency, warmth and professionalism.

As our Office Manager, you will work closely with our School Business Manager and alongside colleagues across Create Partnership Trust, helping to ensure that our office operates smoothly and effectively in support of our pupils, families and staff. This is a highly visible, outward-facing role: you will often be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies, and will therefore play an important part in representing the school and creating a welcoming, positive experience for all.

The successful candidate will also take a key role in managing attendance, ensuring accurate systems, effective communication with families, and a proactive approach to supporting good pupil attendance.

At Greet Primary School, our motto is: “No Limits to What We Can Achieve.” Our core values — Work hard, Be kind, Make good choices — are central to everything we do and are expected of all members of our school community. We are looking for someone who will embody these values and contribute positively to our ambitious, caring and inclusive school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the efficient and effective running of the school office devising new systems as required and improving business efficiency and quality standards.
  • Supervision of other office staff.
  • Responsibility for administering school admission procedures and accurately maintaining the pupil related information system.
  • Ensuring the quality of administration support including use of word, excel, printing and maintaining accurate filing systems.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that an effective reception service is provided.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has significant experience of working in a school office.
  • Has excellent working knowledge of BromCom (essential).
  • Is highly organised, efficient and able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can work effectively with parents, pupils, staff and external partners.
  • Understands the importance of attendance and can support systems to monitor and improve it.
  • Can work closely with the School Business Manager and collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust.
  • Is professional, approachable and committed to providing a high-quality front-of-house service.
  • Shares our school values of Work hard, Be kind, Make good choices.
In return, we can offer:
  • The opportunity to work in a large, vibrant and welcoming primary school.
  • A key leadership role within a busy and supportive office team.
  • Close working partnerships with school leaders and Trust colleagues.
  • A school community committed to high expectations, inclusion and care for all.
  • The chance to make a real difference to the experience of children and families every day.
