Our client is a trusted service provider delivering essential housing maintenance and repair services under a long-term MOD contract. We are seeking a hands-on, organised, and experienced Office Manager to lead our administrative operations in Gosport.

Salary: GBP30,000 per annum

Our client is a trusted service provider delivering essential housing maintenance and repair services under a long-term MOD contract. We are seeking a hands-on, organised, and experienced Office Manager to lead our administrative operations in Gosport.

About the Role:

As Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our day-to-day operations. You ll oversee office administration and scheduling teams, coordinate closely with our field engineers, and ensure effective service delivery for MOD housing and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily office operations, ensuring a productive and professional working environment.

  • Supervise and support the scheduling/coordinator team to ensure efficient deployment of engineers.

  • Liaise with field engineers and supervisors to coordinate job completion, updates, and priorities.

  • Monitor workloads, KPIs, and service levels in line with MOD contract requirements.

  • Handle internal communications, reporting, and ensure compliance with all admin processes.

  • Act as a key point of contact for client queries and operational issues.

What We re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in office management, ideally within a service-based or maintenance environment.

  • Excellent coordination and people management skills.

  • Strong communication abilities with experience liaising between field teams and back-office staff.

  • Organised and proactive, able to prioritise in a busy, fast-paced setting.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and job management software (experience with CAFM systems is a plus).

  • Previous experience with MOD contracts or working in a compliance-driven environment is desirable.
