Job description

Brook Street are currently recruiting for an Office Manager to join our client in Derby to work at the forefront of their office administration operations. Successful candidates will need Administration experience and working knowledge of Sage 50.

This is a temporary position for an anticipated 3 months, with the potential of extension depending on business needs.

Position - Office Manager (Accounts Focused)

Pay Rate - £13-16 per hour

Hours - Monday-Friday, 38 hours (half day Friday)

Location - Derby

Duration - 3 months with potential extension

Responsibilities -

  • First point of contact for incoming queries and visitors in the office.
  • Management and development of the Sage accounting system.
  • Entering invoices on to the system.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Manage payroll input to external bureau.
  • General administrative duties.
  • Delegating tasks as required to the wider team.
  • Managing sales ledger and credit control.

We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, with the ability to organise their workload and prioritise tasks of high importance without supervision. It is essential that applicants have previous experience of Sage 50, as duties will require the use if this software on a daily basis.
