Job summary

Office Supervisor role in Manchester City Centre, Mon–Fri, 35 hours per week, full‑time. The successful candidate will coordinate day‑to‑day office and facilities, support the team, manage suppliers and stakeholders, and uphold a consistently high standard of service and client experience across the business.

You will lead, coach and schedule staff, oversee office administration and purchasing, coordinate events and meetings, and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, acting as a

Qualifications

  • Experience in office services, facilities or operational management.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety risks and ability to escalate concerns.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for professional interaction at all levels.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
  • Good IT skills and confidence with MS Office and related software.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient, professional day-to-day operation of the office and a welcoming environment.
  • Coordinate office, facilities and operational requirements with staff, clients, contractors and suppliers.
  • Lead, coach and schedule team members, manage rotas, holidays and absence records.
  • Oversee office administration and purchasing, invoicing, records and supplies.
  • Coordinate events, meetings and hospitality, and assist with moves and relocations.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records, permits and risk assessments, and act as First Aider.
