Job summary

Eunomia Research & Consulting is seeking an Office Coordinator to support the Bristol head office with a proactive, organised and independent approach. This role covers administration, facilities, health & safety and ISO record-keeping, with opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies in a collaborative environment.

The salary is up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience, with both part-time and full-time hours required and a policy to work from the office daily or as hours

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with ISO certification or audits is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Manage reception, shared mailboxes and incoming/outgoing post.
  • Oversee day-to-day office administration, including stock, supplies, recycling and utilities.
  • Support office health & safety, including fire safety and maintaining relevant records.
  • Manage office-related payments, expenses and receipts.
  • Coordinate facilities and maintenance issues, including logging jobs, arranging and supervising contractors and coordinating the handyperson.
  • Plan and coordinate regular maintenance and servicing.
  • Follow contractor vetting and site procedures.
  • Support company insurance renewals and maintain associated documentation.
  • Support the management and ongoing requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, including audit preparation and record keeping.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve office processes and efficiencies.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, organised and independent Office Coordinator to support the smooth running of our head office in central Bristol.

This is a varied role covering office administration, facilities, health & safety and general company administration. The successful candidate will be a confident problem-solver who takes ownership, is comfortable working independently and enjoys working with a wide range of people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Confident maintaining accurate records and following processes.
  • Facilities management experience, particularly within a listed or historic building.
  • Health & Safety experience or relevant qualifications.
  • Experience with ISO certification, audits or compliance management.
