Location: Central London. Expectation of a minimum of 3 days/week in the office. Flexible working available on request.
Salary Band: £28,000-£32,000 per annum

Role Summary
As an Office Assistant, you will provide support to the Head of Office with a focus on facilities, hospitality and reception duties. There will be opportunities to grow, for example in the areas of executive assistance, marketing and operational roles. This role is busy, and varied, and the successful applicant should be able to balance conflicting priorities, be decisive, dependable and calm under pressure.
We are an agile company, therefore flexibility is important. We value reliability and adaptability within our team.
Key Responsibilities
Main duties include (but are not limited to):-
- Post and correspondence – dealing with incoming and outgoing post/deliveries.
- Reception duties – including directing phones appropriately and meeting and greeting guests.
- Hospitality duties – including refreshments and ensuring all areas of the office are well presented.
- Management of the company room booking system, and annual leave system.
- Diary management – including scheduling meetings, and travel as required.
- Facility management - maintaining office supplies to a set budget.
- Other support to the Office Manager as required.
Collaboration - You should feel comfortable working as part of a team, and independently, to suit the situation/task.
Communication - You will be working with staff at all levels, as well as our clients and advisory network. You should be able to adapt your communication style to suit the needs of all audiences.
Organisation – You should be able to produce work to a high standard with good attention to detail. You should be able to reprioritise workload as required throughout the day.
Previous experience – 12-18 months previous experience working in an office environment or secretarial qualification(s) are preferable, with proficiency using Microsoft office suite. An interest, or experience, in marketing is also preferable, though not a requirement. You are not required to have an in depth knowledge of geopolitics.
