A leading company in the electricity networks industry is looking for a proactive Office Administrator to manage day-to-day operations. The role involves essential administrative support, ensuring efficient office operations, and serving as a key contact for staff and visitors. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and experience in office administration. The position is based in Copgrove, North Yorkshire, with a competitive salary range.

Energyline is a well-established, family- run business founded in 2002 and proudly based in Copgrove, North Yorkshire. We specialise in supporting the electricity networks industry, offering a combination of on-site condition assessments, intrusive geotechnical investigations, and expert design consultancy services.
Our operations are based at our head office, which includes office space, a workshop, and a warehouse facility supporting up to 49 staff. We manage a fleet of 7 vehicles, including specialist plant equipment.
The role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our office. In this pivotal role, you'll provide essential administrative support, manage day-to-day tasks, and serve as a key point of contact for staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing office supplies, equipment, and IT inventory to maintain operational efficiency
• Maintain and update filing systems as part of the integrated management system, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Assist with reports, presentations and internal communications
• Answer incoming calls and re-direct them to relevant staff members
• Conduct regular risk assessments throughout the offices
• Maintain fleet admin records
• Involvement in regular health and safety meetings
• Arrange relevant services on time and update logs
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience of working in office administration or similar support role
• Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Teams
• An understanding of health and safety in the workplace
• Experience maintaining records, supplies and filing systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise day to day activities
• Ability to work with all stakeholder levels
The role is based in Copgrove, North Yorkshire.
Salary : Between £24,570 - £28,000
