Job description

We are seeking to appoint an Office Administrator to work in the busy Business Support office within Broadwalk Green PRU. Broadwalk Green is a Key Stage 3 Pupil Referral Unit. All pupils have been permanently excluded from mainstream school or are at risk of such.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative and finance support to the Head of Centre and School Business Manager.
  2. Undertake general administration duties, including managing financial transactions, assisting with admissions and school trips, and providing administrative support.
  3. Manage reception duties, including welcoming visitors, handling phone calls and messages, and responding to enquiries from parents, staff, pupils, and visitors.
Candidate Requirements
  • Ability to remain calm and positive in challenging circumstances.
  • Good interpersonal skills to relate well to pupils and adults.
  • Flexible, organised, reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of SIMs management system is desirable but not essential.
Additional Information

The successful candidate will receive support through the school’s induction programme and training as required.
