A growing architectural practice in the North of England seeks an Administrative Assistant to support office operations. The Practice
Opportunity to join our growing practice providing building surveys and architectural services across the North of England. Gaining 90% of instructions through repeat business and word of mouth referrals, our practice has established a reputation for delivering an excellent service to our clients.
Our Architectural Services include design and construction management of a broad range of schemes from simple home alterations to high end bespoke residential, leisure and commercial developments.
Our Building Surveying services which are predominantly residential, on traditional and/or historic buildings within the rural and built environment.

The Job
An Administrative Assistant is required to undertake general office duties such as answering calls, emails, arranging appointments, filing, diary management and some more specific paperwork related to our business. This includes transcription and survey editing. The successful applicant will be supported by other members of the team with personal and professional development being encouraged.
The Person
The successful applicant will have some previous experience working in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry. Being proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with dictation software/hardware are essential skills with any interest or knowledge in buildings being an advantage. A positive attitude, ability to manage workloads and drive to provide the highest level of service, are all important to us.
The Package
Full time - from £25,000 a year
Possibly part time (hours/pay to be agreed) with flexible working arrangements available.
21 Days holiday + bank holidays + 2 weeks at Christmas + additional days for time in role.
Free on-site parking.
