Job summary

Gamlingay Village Primary School in Bedfordshire is seeking an Office Administrator to join our friendly team. This part-time role (26 hours per week) supports the day-to-day running of the school office and ensures a warm, professional welcome for pupils, families and visitors.

You will handle records, correspondence and communications, maintain attendance data and assist with school events. The successful candidate will be highly organised, an excellent communicator and able to manage

  • Support attendance processes and maintain accurate school records.
  • Assist with school events, visits and wider administrative functions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to support pupils and families.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of your work.

Job description

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Salary: NJC Scale 3 points 5 to 6 (£25,583 to £25,989 per annum FTE - pay award pending). Actual salary £15,211.51 per annum on point

Contract: Permanent, 26 hours per week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 08.30 to 15.30 with a 30 minute unpaid break. Term time plus 2 training days in September and October (38.4 weeks per yea
