Overview

MK Search are working with a leading main contractor with a turnover of €900m and a strong international presence delivering across sectors who are for a OFCI Package Manager to join their team on a notable 68MW data centre project they are delivering in South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary technical and process lead for all OFCI (Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed) equipment packages, acting as the main point of contact between client-appointed vendors and project stakeholders.
  • Manage the OFCI team to ensure all works are effectively engineered, coordinated, and executed in full compliance with project specifications, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of OFCI packages — from procurement through delivery, installation, and commissioning — ensuring integration with the overall construction programme.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, and commissioning teams to drive alignment and support seamless project delivery.
  • Lead regular coordination meetings with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to review progress, resolve issues, and maintain clear communication.
  • Track and report on OFCI progress, identifying potential risks and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to prevent or resolve contractual and operational disputes.
  • Ensure all vendor-supplied equipment meets technical, safety, and quality standards prior to installation.
  • Maintain strict adherence to client confidentiality, data security, and project compliance requirements at all times.
