Job summary

RAFAKidz Nursery at RAF Odiham is seeking an Early Years Educator Level 3. You will use EYFS outcomes to plan and deliver engaging activities and provide a safe, nurturing learning environment.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification, have at least 1 year of nursery experience and a Paediatric First Aid certificate. You will maintain records for Ofsted, act as a designated key worker, and support children with SEND in collaboration with SENCO.

• Minimum 1 year nursery experience.
• Paediatric First Aid certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Use EYFS outcomes to plan and carry out engaging activities.

About you

As a qualified Early Years Educator you will hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification and will have a sound knowledge of the responsibilities that go with the role. We need you have a minimum 1 years nursery experience and a Paediatric First Aid certificate. A typical day in the role will involve;

• Using the EYFS learning outcomes to plan and carry out fun, educational and stimulating activities
• Updating and maintaining accurate records that fulfil Ofsted requirements
• Designated key worker responsibilities for a group of children
• Work with Senco to identify and support children with special educational needs and disabilities

This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter.
