Job summary

RAFAKidz Shawbury is seeking an Early Years Educator Level 3 to join our friendly on-site team at RAF Shawbury. You will plan engaging activities using EYFS outcomes, maintain records for Ofsted, and share key worker responsibilities for a group of children.

You should hold a Level 3 childcare qualification, have at least 1 year nursery experience, and hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate. The role is on-site with a competitive £13.80/hour rate and 38 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Qualified Early Years Educator with Level 3 childcare qualification.
• Minimum 1 year nursery experience.
• Paediatric First Aid certificate.
• DBS check completed on appointment and every three years thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out fun, educational activities using EYFS learning outcomes.
• Update and maintain accurate records to fulfil Ofsted requirements.
• Fulfill designated key worker responsibilities for a group of children.
• Work with Senco to identify and support children with SEND.

About you

• Using the EYFS learning outcomes to plan and carry out fun, educational and stimulating activities
• Updating and maintaining accurate records that fulfil Ofsted requirements
• Designated key worker responsibilities for a group of children
• Work with Senco to identify and support children with special educational needs and disabilities
