Job summary

RAFAKidz Nursery at RAF Honington in Bury St Edmunds is seeking an Early Years Educator Level 3 for lunch cover. The position runs 11.30am–2.30pm, Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week, at £13.80 per hour.

You will deliver EYFS-based activities, maintain OFSTED-ready records, and serve as a designated key worker for a small group of children. Paediatric First Aid is required; a supportive, welcoming team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year nursery experience.
• Paediatric First Aid certificate required.
• Using EYFS outcomes to plan activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out engaging activities using EYFS.
• Update and maintain records for Ofsted compliance.
• Act as designated key worker for a group of children.
• Support children with additional needs in collaboration with SENCO.

About you

As a qualified Early Years Educator you will have a sound knowledge of the responsibilities that go with the role. We need you have a minimum 1 years nursery experience and a Paediatric First Aid certificate. A typical day in the role will involve;

• Using the EYFS learning outcomes to plan and carry out fun, educational and stimulating activities


• Updating and maintaining accurate records that fulfil Ofsted requirements


• Designated key worker responsibilities for a group of children


• Work with Senco to identify and support children with special educational needs and disabilities
